Waiting for Mookie to arrive at the special surprise birthday party that Moodolf had planned, seemed like an eternity.

Gee, one minute Moodolf is telling me to kiss his ass, the next he's baking me a cake for my birthday. I can't figure this cow out.

I can't help but think that Moodolf might actually be female and menstrating right now. It would explain the violent mood swings.

I'm glad the penguins aren't this flippant with people's feelings.....

So Moodolf, do us all a favor and either get back in the box or jump on my barbecue.

So it has been brought to my attention that some of my comments to Moodolf may have been taken in a less than favorable light. Let me say that I appreciate the cake that Moodolf baked me (without opposable thumbs, I might add) for my birthday. I was also quite flattered that he even remembered my birthday given the knowledge that Moodolf's brain (the same as any other cow's) is about the size of a mandarin orange.

I also need to address the 'box or barbecue' comment. Let me start off by saying that I was hurt by the 'kiss this' comment. He was off to clown college. I may have made some off color remarks about the type of college. For that I apologize. It was all conjecture and speculation on my part up to that point. I was most likely wrong, but also I could be right in the kind of college Moodolf attended. That's neither here nor there. My feeling is that Moodolf should be cow enough to know when the time has come to step aside and let others take his place. Moodolf may have plenty more to say and do, but if he doesn't learn to pace himself, he will be left with nothing in a few short months. Getting in the box will help him revitalize and he will come back a better, renewed, more energized cow.

And the barbecue part, well that's easy. I have long maintained that 'I ain't never ate a cow I didn't like'. So in a way, I was telling Moodolf that I did like him. I DO like him. Cows are a wonderful thing. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a card carrying member of PETA (People who Eat Tasty Animals). Moodolf can only benefit us all by aging a bit in the box.

So hopefully this will put Moodolf's feelings at ease so he can get into the box. He will return one day, and I have no doubt that with a little alone time, he will be a better, more experienced, and yummier cow.
